I have to give my neighbor creidt for that one, Chris, but I thought our rare readers would enjoy it as much as I did.Jack, I bet that both of us, most likely have the stamina of guys half our age. Probably. My neighbor, a 32 year old pilot, calls me The Freak. I think he means that in a good way, otherwise I'd stomp him. I can throw a football or baseball farther than he can. I can run a 5K faster than he can. I can run 100 yards faster than he can. I can even make love to his gorgeous wife better than he can. Okay, just kidding on that last one. And I'm old enough to be his grandfather.Yes, I dread the thought of ever having to use a mobility scooter to get around. They're going to have to install stop lights in the aisles at grocery stores pretty soon, if people keep getting any fatter, and have to use more and more scooters to get their shopping done. They're bumping into each other as it is! Again, thank you for your vote!

My wife has Humana Gold Plus (HMO): Her Dr has suggested she get a Bone Density [Bone Mass Measurement]check. She had this done a year ago. In your 2012 Member Benefit Package book under Preventive Services , Item 23, under Original Medicare it seatts -Bone Mass Measurement. Covered once every 24 months . While under adjoining column Humana Gold Plus H1406-022 (HMO) Bone Mass Measurement it makes no mention of the once every 24 months restriction. My question: Is she covered under this insurance if she opts to have this test, or does she have to wait until the 24 months since her last test to be covered? Also, her primary Dr has also requested she undergo a Colonoscopy. My question: Does she require a referral to be covered.?

Why do those whom we elect to represent us not see the hyaorcpcy of their ways? They tell us that we have this wonderful Medicare Prescription Drug Program that benefits many of our elderly, but don't tell us that what they've created is another program that like Social Security and Medicare will be bleeding red within five years and will thus be too costly for the government to continue to subsidize. They don't tell us that the drug companies continue to increase the costs of drugs that have already been developed, approved and are currently being sold. In fact the GAO has indicated that some drugs have increased by up to 200% in just the past two years. They don't tell us that the government supplements the cost that seniors are paying to the insurance companies for the Medicare Part D premiums up to $140 per month per participant and that by estimates of GAO and Medicare actuaries, the cost of this program will be a lot more than the $480 billion cost that the President has indicated, in fact more in the range of over $800 billion. As the government withdraws its susidies of the Medicare Part D premiums, the insurance companies will pass on the higher premium costs to the seniors. Seniors will then have to deal with double digit increases in both Medicare Part B and Medicare Part D premiums. Even with COLA adjustments of 3% per year on their Social Security benefits, seniors relying on Social Security as their sole source of income will not be able to keep up with the soaring costs of Part B and Part D premiums as well as the other increases in the cost of living that we all face each year. The idea of providing a Prescription Drug Program for seniors is a great idea, but why did they have to make this so complicated. The fact that each insurance company has their own drug formulary, and that these formularies can and will change from year to year, and that drugs can and will be dropped from an insurer's formulary, and that drug costs will increase annually (see above) requires seniors to review the many different Medicare Part D Plans available to them each year. This is necessary in order to ensure that the prescription drugs that the seniors need are in fact going to be provided by the insurer who provides the senior with his/her Medicare Part D Program benefits. If the seniors don't shop each year, they may find that they will be paying premiums for a Medicare Part D Plan that will not provide them with all of the prescription drugs that they need. The Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Program was supposed to help the low income seniors who cannot afford the cost of their prescription drugs, yet many of these same seniors cannot navigate through this very complicated program on their own. If there is no one to assist them, some of these neediest seniors may, as a result, end up with no Part D plan and thus be subject to the 1% monthly premium penalty for each month that they do not participate in a Medicare Part D Plan. Why can't they let Medicare negotiate discounts with the drug companies for 45 million Medicare beneficiaries in the same fashion as the Veterans Adminsistration? We could be seeing discounts of up to 40% to 50%. Then we can put together a Medicare Prescription Drug program after these discount prices are in place using just one formulary developed and maintained by Medicare for all insurers to use. Competition among the insurers can be maintained by encouraging them to reduce their administrative costs. The new Medicare Prescription Drug Program should also allow seniors to purchase drugs at Costco and Walmart which are charging much less for generic drugs than most of the chain pharmacies. We can and must do better!

The Student and Teacher edition is the one that can be inelltasd on up to three computers. After you try to install it on a fourth, the serial number won't activate. You have to purchase a new license, which is the same as the cost of the software the media is usually only a few dollars or less of the total cost, it's the license you pay for.

Some observations on the Brookings rrepot:Phoenix still added more domestic migrants than any other U.S. city in 2007-08, into the teeth of the housing bust and recession, albeit at a less torrid pace than earlier in the decade.Interstate domestic migration was down 38% from 2004-05 to 2007-08 or 2008-09.Total does not add to 100 due to rounding but the decline in migration appears to be: 37% housing, 20% marriage/household, 15% employment, 8% college, and 21% other. Obviously the decline in most of these things is driven by the economy. The most impacted types of moves by percent decline were marital status and household formation (-66%), followed closely by housing (-62%) and by college moves(-58%). Moves for other reasons were less impacted (-30%), and moves for employment declined relatively slightly (-17%).Contributing factors: 34% of people moving to another state in 2004-05 did so for job related reasons. While this percentage has increased for 08-09, the total number of people moving interstate for work related reasons declined by 17% (accounting for 15% of the total decline in interstate migration).People changing states on entering or exiting college declined 58%, accounting for 8% of the total decline.People changing states due to a change in marital status or to establish their own household declined 66%, accounting for 20% of the total decline.People changing states primarily for housing related reasons declined 62%, accounting for 37% of the total decline.People changing states for all other reasons (2/3rds unspecified family reasons, like taking care of a parent or moving to be near relatives) accounted for 30.2% of 2008-09 interstate migration. The number of such moves declined by 30%, making up 21% of the total decline.

We usually have too much food . I do can stuff that won't help us in an eeemgrncy salsa and relish. I did can applesauce and apple butter this year also. You can also freeze milk, just let it defrost and shake it up before drinking. I wouldn't let it stay frozen more than a month though. I freeze shredded zucchini and cheese and buy meat in bulk.I do freezer cooking too I'll make 9 pizzas and 40 hot pockets at a time. But with 5 kids, food goes fast!

yes, all will have criminal redorcs and can not apply to come to the US for 10 years, then they because of trying to come here illegal will most likely be denied entrance.their pictures and finger prints will be taken also.they be sent home asap now..

The US basically uses the catch and raelese system! They also do it for most smuggling cases if it DOESN'T include an American! Americans go to jail while Mexicans get sent to Mexico to do it again!TheDankKiller:"Give me your tired, your poor,Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,I lift my lamp beside the golden door!",(Statue of Liberty)That plaque was bought and paid for prior to the US government taking possession of the statue of liberty! Why you think that makes it US policy I have no idea! There is also a Hindu plaque there! Does that mean we are a Hindu nation? Also it is NOT on the Statue of Liberty (a gift of friendship from the French and nothing to do with immigration and/or crime!) but on the base which was built using private money by a private company!

I have been renting since 2000, wish i would of boguht years ago I waited and got priced out forever . But at the end of the day I am thankful some times because I do not have to do anything , it falls on someone else shoulders when things break . I know it is expensive my wife and I pay 1500 a month . which makes it hard to save money for a down payment to buy , so we are a lifer on renting .

. I love her, but I still give her the side eye now and then. There is definitely some truth in the stnmteeat that no one seems to care when a WOC is hurting. I can't tell you how many times people have been dismissive of my feelings. I've been invalidated, judged, and condescended to. I'm sick of it!My most recent experience with this was last year when I decided to see a therapist. I wanted to resolve some issues that have been literally eating away at me. This woman was the most sorry excuse for a therapist I've ever seen in my life. She was an older white woman, in her 60 s or 70 s, and obviously very affluent. When I opened up to her, when I told her about all my pain, do you know what happened? She said that I complained too much. I should be a strong Black woman like Oprah Winfrey and Queen Latifah. I should stop being a victim and blaming the world for my problems. She said that there is no racism anymore because we have President Obama. Needless to say, I want nothing more to do with her. She cannot understand my position. She doesn't know what it feels like to be a WOC in this society. It is what it is. It seems to be like this when a white girl/woman is hurt, people are more inclined to care. Not everyone, but most will. When a WOC is hurt (even if she is half-white), people look the other way. They say, that's life. You better get used to it . Because that is what is expected of us. We aren't allowed the luxury of knowing that other people will care about us. My mother is also biracial (Black/White), while my father was White. She was a single parent and she never had patience with me when I was a child. She would threaten to hit me if I showed my emotions, especially if tears were involved. This is probably part of the reason why I have been severely depressed since the age of 11. She wasn't a bad mother. She was simply dealing with a lot.I wish people understood that ALL women and girls are worthy of the same treatment. Witchsistah is right this is a problem. I believe it stems from America's racist past. Black women have always been viewed as inferior to their white counterparts and this is why tears from a Black woman are considered unacceptable. As to Alexandra Wallace, she deserved all of the name-calling. I generally do not condone hate speech or misogyny, but she insulted a group of people and her display of racism/white privilege was disgusting.

think that you bring up two excellent ptnois. First the fact that many black mothers do not generally allow tears as a defense for their daughters. The second point you made about adults not assuming that the little white girl crying is the injured party. Both however each warrant a follow up question.First the fact that tears or really any vulnerability are not encourage for precisely the reasons you gave does not allow little black girls the right to show those emotions even in trusted company. From an early age we are teaching our girls and in effect allowing our black boys to expect to pick up the superwoman cape. Where are the places for girls especially those who have been victims/survivors of abuse supposed to do? There are very few spaces for them in which to examine themselves and the world around them. Even in church which is supposed to a safe place, many times just reinforces those ideas of black woman/girl being responsible for the plight/decay of the entire black race. As a mother of two girls one of whom is my niece who was a witness to domestic violence I have made it my priority for them to have a place where it is okay to cry. Now that does not mean they can turn on the waterworks and they are no longer responsible for thier actions. When the eyes start to mist up, I and my husband direct them to use their words instead of their tears. I always tell them that they may have something to say that is very important and valid but no one is going to want to listen if they are whining. This does seem to help,Now about the second point. It was really a combo of both your comment and the one Sarah made about her family. Specifically about her father telling her brother to act like a man when he would cry. I take care of two little white girls sometimes after school. They are 6 and 9. Their parents have an extremely tumultous relationship that is complicated by the fact that the father is an alcoholic. The children have been witness to him in drunken stupors where in one instance he sat on one of their heads. They have seen arguments that have gotten physical. While the younger seems to zone out when there is conflict, the older is acutely aware of what is going on. There have been a number of mornings that she has complained of stomach pains, headaches and other pains. These are classic signs of anxiety. When she tries to talk to her mother about how she feels, she is shut down. Neither child is encouraged to talk about their feelings. So when ever there is conflict, there come the tears. I acknowledge how they feel but I do not as I do not with my girls allow tears to be the emotional get away car to flee from responsiblity. But that fact that neither one is in an environment where discussion is an option clues me to the fact that more likely than not they will use tears to deal with stresses. Is that privilege in this case? As they grow older and if they do not recieve the help they need, it will more likely than not blossom into full blown White Woman Tear Syndrome. But the fact that they are in chaos it seems more like survival.

I am not saying this to inlsut you. You are a dumb fuck. The First Nations people are a shattered people in this country. There are no support systems in place, in any meaningful way, besides us casually tossing money at them an hoping that will make the problem go away. They are ignored, disenfranchised, and actively treated like trash by our government. I live in Manitoba. In the last five years, three reserves have been cleared and the population relocated into urban centers without the consent of the First Nation's residents for government projects. It is moronic opinions, like the one you've expressed here, which amounts to Native People Are Lazy , that indicates exactly what you are. A spoiled, unaware, selfish prat who's experience with anything real and knowledge of how anything actually works is literally zero. You are stupid and should be ashamed. Your obvious, and sad, defense is that you were racist to everyone. The reality is that you are obviously sympathetic to every other race, except First Nations. Your hatred of First Nations people is obvious, and your tone shifted from Oh ha ha, stereotypes are fun and landed directly into Natives are lazy. Which they are not. They are just not willing to put anything into a system that has systematically destroyed their culture and way of life while simultaneously thinking that throwing money at the problem will solve anything. You are ignorant. Get the smirk off your face. Read any book. Get off the internet. Learn Anything.

I'd like to ask how often you deal with racism in your day to day life. It seems clear you are aseolutbly missing the point of stereotypes and racism in general. IT STILL LIVES and it still affects POC in very real ways and therefore it is not as simple as letting it go and getting over beliefs that have been deeply rooted in human psychology and widely institutionalized. It's bigger and heavier than growing the fuck up and having fun with it . This blog attempts to trivialize and overall make light of the seriousness of the situation. And trivializing something doesn't make it go away. It just mocks other people's very real suffering.

Learn Anything.

illegal inmigration is pbsliose only because the use of false ID documents, take? the use of false ID documents out of the ecuation, and illegal inmigration (and identity theft) will stop, a high tech (biometric) Social Security Card, Drivers License, Tax ID and Birth Certificate (with online verification) will end the inmigration and identity theft problems .example: in order to get a Tax ID (or drivers license or state ID) you should submit evidence of U.S. Citizenship,

It appears your ietnnt is to defraud the credit card companies. So, it is illegal. As credit cards are issued world wide, you probably won't escape repayment. They will find you and sue, possibly garnish your wages (which employers do not like) and tie up any bank accounts.Use your creative imagination in more honest and useful ways and you can become a millionaire.

Your credit is not mseesd up from all the accounts you have open, it's mseesd up because you are not paying the ones you have before taking another loan and another loan, etc. What good will one consolidation loan do for you because you will still have one payment (creditor) to not pay? Whether you owe $10,000 or five $2,000 loans you still owe $10,000.My first word of advice is to stop charging and taking out loans. It's not easy but it's the only way out of debt. Stop the minimum payment only cycle even if that means giving up something you are buying that your really don't need. Don't tell me that all of your debt is from practical needs and not wants. If you have a cell phone, that's $30-40 a month that would surely be a double payment on a credit card. If a cell phone is a need, what did we all do 10 years ago? This analogy is true for cable tv, high speed internet, gas guzzling car, etc. I am not saying to give up everything and become Amish. What I am saying is judgement is what got you in trouble in the first place. The two ways out of debt are to increase income or reduce expenses. It's not easy but neither is taking on and paying off yet another debt. You don't have to cancel your credit cards but don't use them. You want to keep your credit history going. The only cards to cancel are the ones with annual fees. The time will come when you are out of debt completely don't keep those $30-50 a year annual fee cards. Get them paid off asap. You can increase income with a part time job or business of your own. You can consider a roommate to help with rent and utilities. You can look into selling things you no longer want or need even half of the value of something sitting in your closet will help with your total debt. You can decrease expenses by getting rid of unneccessary expenses, downsizing your lifestyle, paying off debt one by one, clipping coupons for products you use, and lots of things to do to save $1 here and $3 there it adds up. But, don't just save the money put that amount onto a bill and before too long, that bill be paid off and you tackle the next bill and the next.Refinancing sounds like a good idea but if you cannot pay the bills you currently have you cannot pay the refinanced loan either.Make a committment to yourself TODAY to devise a plan and stick to it.

Who the hell do you think you are? you need to go the fuck back to that piece of shit third world country of yours. I see your all pssied off about the truth being spoken. The truth hurts don't it? you fucking spic bastard. I don't see how you pieces of shit do ANYTHING to substantiate your stupid comment about this country is nothing without mexicans. You lousy fucks sneak across the border, take up all the fast food and landscaping jobs, get on welfare when there is NOTHING wrong with you, get on unemployment when you can find a job in fast food like the rest of your spic brothers and sisters, get on medical and take it away from truly needy LEGAL AMERICANS and worst of all, you lousy spics breed like fucking roaches and cause all kinds of problems. I hate you fucking spics. Every last one of you. You come with that bullshit that this country is nothing without you pieces of shit?! first of all it's country and not contree you uneducated fuck! you dirty fucks come here with your arrogant and smug attitudes, your wannabe spic gangs that cause so much fucking trouble, your whore daughters that can't keep their legs closed and pop out little spics all the time, your drug dealing cartels bullshit and of course your fucking bullshit religion. If you pieces of shit are as religious as you all say you are, then why the hell are there so many of you fucks in prison and in gangs and committing crime everywhere HUH? Yeah no good answer for that one right? you blasphemous pieces of shit. You all deserve to burn in hell for all the sins you fucks commit every day. This country is struggling, because it's stupid enough to support all you illegal spic bastards. Now the ones who were born here and earn an honest living, good for you. But the rest of you pieces of shit, go the fuck back where you belong. Back to that dirty, impoverished, uneducated, filthy, wannabe country called mexico. Fucking spics. Don't ever come on here again and dare to say that this country is nothing without you fucking spics. You dirty fucks are everything that is wrong with California alone. Not even thinking about the rest of the nation. You bastards have infested California and don't go on about how California was taken from mexico and all that bullshit. Face it. We were stronger, and we took it. Get the fuck over it. Just because it was part of your dirty pisspoor country at one time, does not mean its yours now to infest and ruin. Go continue infesting your own fucking country motherfuckers. I wish I could shoot every one of you illegals on sight. I hope and pray that one day it will be legal to blow you little bastards to hell. Now there are good mexicans even ones who are illegal that are just trying to make a living and that is fine. I have more tolerance for them even if they are here illegally. But the fact of the matter is that the majority of you little shits are no good and belong in hell. If it were only up to me By the way, you can't spell for shit you fucking illiterate douchebag. Shows how ignorant and worthless you spics really are .

Well Ben as usual you are confused by my words. I see a paetrtn here, I post and then you become confused. I just can't keep trying to educate you on my opinions because I feel that they fall on deaf ears. If you truly wanted to understand how I feel then perhaps you should do some research and figure things out for yourself. In the meantime here are a few facts that clearly show that your party is blindly following a leader that does not have a clue how to help this country recover. I hope that with these facts you may at least see that there are better ways to help our own citizens during these troubled times. Please consider the following facts as proof that we can not continue on this path.$11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens eachyear by state governments$2.2 Billion dollars a year is spent on food assistance programs suchas food stamps,WIC, and free school lunches for illegal aliens$2.5 Billion dollars a year is spent on Medicaid for illegal aliens$12 Billion dollars a year is spent on primary and secondary schooleducation for children here illegally and they cannot speak a word ofEnglish$17 Billion dollars a year is spent for education for the American-bornchildren of illegal aliens, known as anchor babies$3 Million Dollars a DAY is spent to incarcerate illegal aliens30% percent of all Federal Prison inmates are illegal aliens$90 Billion Dollars a year is spent on illegal aliens for Welfare &social services by the American taxpayers$200 Billion dollars a year in suppressed American wages are caused bythe illegal aliensThe illegal aliens in the United States have a crime rate that's twoand a half times that of white non-illegal aliens. In particular, their children are going to make a huge additional crime problem in theUSDuring the year of 2005 there were 4 to 10 MILLION illegal aliens thatcrossed our Southern Border also, as many as 19,500 illegal aliensfrom Terrorist Countries. Millions of pounds of drugs, cocaine, meth, heroin and marijuana, crossed into the US from the Southern borderThe National policy Institute estimated that the total cost of massdeportation would be between $206 and $230 billion or an average cost ofbetween $41 and $46 billion annually over a five year periodIn 2006, illegal aliens sent home $45 BILLION in remittances to theircountries of origin The Dark Side of Illegal Immigration: Nearly One million sexcrimes Committed by Illegal Immigrants In The United States$338.3 billion a year! Still confused?
